Dear Chamber Members and Charlotte Business Owners,
We have made it through Spring 2020 and now Summer 2020! As we enter the new season, we would like to say thank you! Thank you for staying strong, thank you for remaining positive and thank you for representing Charlotte as the remarkable city we are proud to call home!
Over these past few months we have been tested and have changed how we operate. Sometimes these changes came with little notice and then changed again the following week. With all of these changes one thing remained the same, our passion for a great community! It was very impressive how so many businesses were able to quickly adapt and for this reason Charlotte has not experienced an extreme loss. We will continue to move forward together.
During this time the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce has assisted many businesses with the loan and grant applications. As well as, assisting the business owners and managers to navigate through the new guidelines that are needed to re-open our community safely. These services are available and the chamber looks forward to assisting businesses with what steps are still to come.
Even though our community did not get to experience The Home and Business Expo, Charlotte Celebrate, The Eaton County Fair or our beloved Frontier Days the chamber worked diligently to provide different options. The local Farmer’s Market was one of the communities best seasons to date! The Summer Concerts on the Lawn may have drawn a smaller crowd but were enjoyed and appreciated by those who came. The new addition of the Thursday night Car Cruise has been a highlight of the week. It seems Charlotte was able to Celebrate after all!
Still to come this season Charlotte will be celebrating small weekend events such as Buy Nearby and Small Business Saturday. These events may look a bit different but Charlotte is open for business and the chamber will continue to be standing by to support in anyway needed.
Please contact the Chamber office for any questions or assistance you may need.
