The Charlotte Chamber of Commerce wishes to extend a most gracious welcome to our historical and charming communities. Located in the heart of Eaton County, the Charlotte Chamber encompasses the City of Charlotte and surrounding townships of Eaton, Carmel and Benton and the communities of Olivet, Bellevue, and others. The area retains a rural atmosphere but is ideally located so that educational, cultural and recreational amenities are easily accessible. Various community organizations, historical societies, churches and a variety of local events and festivals add to our small-town charm.
We are conveniently located less than one half hour away from Lansing, Battle Creek, and Michigan State University. Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor, Detroit, and Kalamazoo are quick commutes from Charlotte.
With our growing business community, outstanding school system, fantastic recreational opportunities and strong sense of community spirit that comprise the Charlotte area offer a variety of rewarding experiences to enhance your quality of life. Whether you are here for a moment or for a lifetime, you are home. Ribbon Cuttings are our special way of welcoming new businesses to the community as well as to the Chamber. Ribbon Cuttings are done for Chamber members, but everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
Member to Member events are another way to socialize and network with other Chamber members. These are scheduled periodically throughout the year and are held at various Chamber Member locations.
